The Aftercare Program

Life following treatment and/or incarceration is when the real work begins.  Many woman find themselves asking, “Clean and sober, now what?”  Readjusting to family life, finding a job and a decent place to live, and gaining acceptance in the general community present major challenges for recently emancipated women.  Without a good support system in place, it is almost impossible to accomplish these goals. Research has shown that this lack of support is a major reason for re-offending among parolees and probationers.

Beauty for Ashes Women’s Center-Aftercare Program (BFA) provides:

·        Case management

·        Clothing assistance

·        Housing assistance

·        Support and Guidance

·        Employment assistance

·        Re-entry Mentor Program

·        Women's Support Group Meetings

For women who have made a decision and are ready to move forward and truly transform their lives.
