Beauty for Ashes-Aftercare Program

WELCOME TO BEAUTY FOR ASHES

Beauty for Ashes is a nonprofit organization that assists women in crisis
situations to move forward and truly transform their lives.  We serve
ex-offenders, victims of homelessness, and women who are recovering
from alcohol or drug addictions. Beauty for Ashes encourages our clients
to break the vicious cycles of poverty and joblessness by providing the
resources to successfully reenter the community.  

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve women who are in transition, who have made a
positive decision to move forward with their lives. We believe that
providing the resources necessary to secure a decent job, to identify
safe affordable housing options, and to be reunited with family members,
will help our clients set and achieve workable goals for the future.

To sustain these goals, we offer one-on-one mentoring that encourages accountability and provides support to overcome major challenges.

Goals

·   To provide for the successful reintegration of female ex-offenders and
recovering alcohol and substance abusers.

·   To provide aftercare/re-entry services that permits our clients to remain
drug and alcohol free

·   To link our clients with referral agencies that will provide them with
permanent job opportunities.

·   To mentor clients who want to achieve their goals through training
or education.

·   To identify safe, clean, affordable housing options.
