The Aftercare Program

Life following treatment and/or incarceration is when the real work begins. Many women find themselves asking, “Clean and sober, now what?” Readjusting to family life, finding a job, finding a place to call home; in the interim and gaining acceptance in the general community can present a major challenge for recently emancipated women.

Without a good support system in place it is almost impossible to accomplish these goals. Research has shown that this lack of support is a major reason for re-offending among parolees and probationers.
