Beauty for Ashes, Inc. is a 501 (C) (3), Community-based, Non-Profit Corporation that specializes in helping people succeed by realizing their potential to be self-sufficient and successful. We are comprised solely of volunteers who have made a commitment to providing services and support to women and children who are in crisis and have the desire to start over, transform their lives by breaking old patterns of self-destructive behavior. Our hope is that you will join us in creating a Community of Care and Support through our Community Outreach Programs.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide assistance and support to women and children in crisis. We strive to support women with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to fulfill the responsibility for the care and protection of their children and to promote their own survival and personal development, thereby bringing about healing and transformation.
Our Vision
Our vision is to serve women who have made a positive decision to move forward with their lives. We believe that providing the resources necessary to secure a decent job, to identify safe and affordable housing options as well as to be reunited with family members will help our clients set and achieve workable goals for the future. We seek to aid in their transformation and restoration.
To sustain these goals we offer:
- Case Management which encourages accountability and provides support to overcome major challenges
- Community Resource Networking which offers a wide range of resources and services needed to sustain and improve lives of women and children in crisis
- Support groups that focuses on spirituality, personal growth and healing
- Community Outreach Programs where local super markets, business and corporations join us in feeding the destitute and providing resource information.
